It seems like everybody likes a good pop-up shop that sells their favorite niche thing. A specific product that can’t be found in common places. Things like a “Marathon” store (R.I.P. Nipsey Hussle), or the Jordan store, that was in Charlotte for one weekend. Welp, let me put you on a weekly pop-up. A pop-up that is selling a product that most people have to go to an amusement park to get. I hesitantly, because I don’t want to stand in longer lines, introduce the delicious Nadine’s Funnel Cakes. That’s right, Ms. Nadine is serving up the freshest funnel cakes in the land, with a twist. Normally you would get a funnel cake with powdered sugar, an option for canned fruit, and MAYBE flavored drizzle. Ms. Nadine said, “Nuh uh!” She makes the crisp, fluffy, deep fried cakes to order. You have a plethora of options to choose from. Fried oreos, regular oreos, fresh washed and cut strawberries, bananas right out of the peel, vanilla wafers, cinnamon apples, caramel nuts, pineapples, whip cream and so much more. Let me not forget to mention her cold, soft, sweet, CHEESECAKE! You can get cheesecake! Who else is doing that, but Ms. Nadine. And if that wasn’t enough to make you want to at least check out her Instagram, @nadinesunnelcakes, this will make you want to hop in the car, well it did for me, Ms. Nadine serves ice cream.
