Pursuing Peace is now offering group therapy sessions.

At Pursuing Peace, PLLC, we strive to create a safe, supportive space where student-athletes, working-class individuals and families can connect, heal, and grow. Our group therapy services are designed to foster a sense of community and shared understanding, allowing participants to explore their thoughts and feelings in a compassionate, judgment-free environment.

Through guided sessions, participants benefit in meaningful ways, including:

  • A supportive sounding board to hear diverse perspectives and shared experiences

  • Improved social and communication skills through connection with others

  • Opportunities for personal growth, increased self-awareness, and emotional development

Each group is thoughtfully curated to ensure that every voice is heard, every story is valued, and every participant feels empowered in their journey toward wellness.

Our group rates are $50 for Individuals and $60 for families( two people).

“The Press Conference”

This group is designed for student-athletes navigating the unique challenges of balancing sports, academics, and personal life. It offers a safe and supportive space to discuss topics like performance pressure, identity beyond athletics, injuries, peer expectations, stress management, and maintaining healthy relationships on and off the field.

Through open conversation and shared experiences, student-athletes will connect with peers who truly understand their journey, building resilience, self-awareness, and emotional strength.

“Sis, you ain't by yourself.”

This group is designed for women seeking encouragement, emotional support, and genuine connection with others who understand the unique challenges of womanhood in today’s world.

In this safe and welcoming space, strength is not an expectation—authenticity is. Here, women can openly share their feelings, experiences, and personal journeys without judgment. Together, we foster healing, self-compassion, and empowerment through shared stories, mutual support, and therapeutic conversation.

You are invited to show up exactly as you are, knowing that your voice, your feelings, and your experiences matter.

“Infinity Sistahs”

This group is created for teenage girls who are navigating challenges related to self-image, acceptance, peer pressure, bullying, dating, and friendships.

Through guided discussions and therapeutic support, participants will have the opportunity to explore their feelings, build self-esteem, and develop healthy coping strategies in a safe and supportive environment.

This space fosters connection, healing, and empowerment—allowing each girl to realize she is not alone in her experiences and to strengthen her sense of self within a community of peers who understand and uplift one another.

“The Village”

This group is a safe space for parents, guardians, and children to address ways to handle mental health issues, relationship barriers, behavioral concerns, and sibling conflict. Children, guardians, and parents will meet separately to allow both parties to be authentic when expressing themselves and gaining support from others.
New_To_Charlotte

“I’m new to the QC, what’s up?”

This group is for individuals who have relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, and are adjusting to living in a new area. This group will develop skills for life-changing events.
