During this season of “Thanks,” I am thankful that I had the opportunity to experience the uniqueness of Golden Cow Creamery. Their flavors are inspired by North Carolina's diverse food culture, as well as other fun and distinctive flavors discovered from around the country and the world. I sampled tons of flavors, but one took me back. Back to lunch time in fourth grade. They had DUNKAROOS ice cream. The nostalgia! Corey took a leap and tried a split scoop of Pumpkin Spice and Maple Walnut. He jumped out there and said, the Pumpkin Spice reminded him of Sweet Potato pie, but that’s a conversation for a different day. Corey, you almost lost a client. But have no fear, no matter when you visit Golden Cow, they’re sure to have classics such as Creamy Vanilla, Rich Chocolate, Fresh Strawberry, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Salted Oreo. Golden Cow also has at least one non-dairy vegan option. Oh but wait, there’s more. Golden Cow is not only special because of their pronounced options, but because they show thanks each time you get a scoop by donating to charity through their amazing community initiative.
